Bolton MP invites residents to forum in a bid to crack down on crime

BOLTON MP Mark Logan is inviting residents in Breightmet and Tonge with the Haulgh to the first of his exclusive three-part community crime forum series.

The MP for Bolton North East says he has been campaigning for safer streets since being elected in 2019.

Now he is bringing together local residents, councillors and senior members of Greater Manchester Police, to discuss the issues that matter most to them.

From anti-social behaviour to speeding, the community crime forum will give residents the opportunity to hear directly from local police and councillors about policing priorities in their area, as well as being able to raise any specific concerns.

Mr Logan said: “Crime and anti-social behaviour continue to blight our streets across Bolton North East.

“Our community crime forums will act as a bridge between our local police force and the communities they serve, ensuring that primary concerns are heard and addressed.

“I’m grateful to be joined by a senior member of Greater Manchester Police and our extremely hardworking local councillors for Breightmet, Cllr Adele Warren and Cllr Stuart Hartigan, for our first event.”

The MP will host events for all areas in Bolton North East.

The first will be November 4 from 6pm.
